Pastoral Support

We want your child to enjoy their time here at Hillbourne and we understand that there are times when worries in school and at home can impact on happiness and well-being. By working alongside other professionals and Agencies we aim to provide wrap around care for our pupils and their families.

We believe that by providing a happy and safe environment for your children they can reach their full potential and make a positive contribution to school and community life.

We have a warm, friendly and welcoming space for children and parents within school. Pupils can see our Pastoral Care Worker for a wide range of reasons including, family break up, bereavement, anger management, friendships issues, low self-esteem amongst many other things.

If you would like an appointment, please contact the school office.  We also run a coffee morning every Friday morning in the Acorns Hall from 8.45 a.m. to 9.45 a.m. This is an opportunity to meet other parents and carers and open to everyone.

No problem is too small so please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

Family Information

The Family Information Service can help with anything and everything around family life. If you are a mum, dad, grandparent or carer, have a question but do not know where to go, then contact Poole Information Service.

It is a free, confidential and impartial information service for parents and carers of 0 to 19 years olds (24 years if your child is disabled).

The Family Information Service and Directory provides comprehensive and up-to-date information on local organisations, services, childcare, activities and events relating to children and young people, their parents and carers as well as professionals working with families.

If you would like any support to access this service, please contact the school office.
