Music

Music is such a significant part of children’s learning and is proven to help with improving language and communication skills, as well as stimulating the creative side of the brain. It also helps encourage positive attitudes to mental health.

You will receive weekly Music singing and listening activities from school. You can also go to the Sing-up website (click on the Home button) and access the songs there, with sound tracks and lyrics for the children to sing along to. Many of these the children will know from our school singing assemblies. Try to incorporate listening to music with everyday life at home, maybe try listening some new genres of music, or play calming music whilst your children work or relax, drawing or playing.
