In Y4/5/6, we as a school with our Trust have made the decision to change the admission number for non-point-of-entry year groups. We are mindful that we could gain additional children via appeal and/or via recommendation from fair access panels in the future. We also understand that we cannot prevent admission in Reception for the full year as your PAN, as per your policy, is 60 (legal requirement of the code).
The following year groups are capped as:
Year 4 32
Year 5 34
Year 6 32
Hamwic Education Trust are now consulting on the admissions policy for 2025. The consultation ends on 31st January 2024. If you have any comments you would like to make about the policy, please send them to Claire Shaw, Education Access Officer, at claire.shaw@hamwic.org
